//“Hot tea spilled by forgotten white porcelain cups melts with the table cloth printed with roses and a paper boat floats on what remains”. Inspiration, romantic analysis of the detail, unconditional passion towards whatever belongs to an elegant and now-more-than-ever up to date universe of vintage: these are the elements representing the embryo of Coseatre. Three designers at the beginning of their career, coming from different backgrounds, meet up among the dummies of Domus Academy, and the journey begins. First ‘child’ of the creative minds of Laura Armato, Marco Corso, Giulia Cerini and Chiara Aiello is the project “Collezione sull’erba”, which presented during the Fuori Salone of Milan, intends to be a declaration of the immortal presence of a retro taste, within the world of design where the ‘modern’ does not sufficiently feed your soul. The incredible synergy towards the perception of the new mixes with the will to revisit the past with lucid eyes: laces forgotten into trunks, handkerchiefs edged by old lavender, precious quilted bags, old family jewels are contaminated with unusual materials, not part of the same imaginary. The illusion of a lace born out of the perforation on latex, or that of a cameo realized with rubber braiding, give life to design pieces to use as daily accessories, proclaiming a modus vivendi based on the immortality of the sensorial experience of memories. “Donna Nica”, “Rosetta” and “Dorotea” are timeless and spaceless pieces, where rice paper becomes fabric and the caoutchouc rubber becomes detail. The intention is that of creating an alternative universe, made of emotions of the past and romantic-futuristic visions. “Collezione sull’erba” embodies only the first and important step that will see future developments in fashion by Coseatre.
